IHOP Omelet Crisper
IHOP
Because your average frozen waffle just isn't extravagant enough, IHOP has launched a new line of portable, microwaveable breakfast products that take morning indulgence to the hilt. The restaurant chain's new "IHOP at Home" items feature French Toast Stuffed Pastries (filled with cream cheese and fruit fillings), Griddle 'n Sausage Wraps (sausage-stuffed, maple-flavored pancakes) and Omelet Crispers (eggs flavored with bacon, sausage or cheese).

IHOP's reasoning behind the new product launch is that "nearly 84 percent of all breakfasts originate in the home," and they recognize that "today's busy consumers want convenient, quality breakfast items they can prepare quickly and even take with them on their way to work and school."

If you want to get your hands on the product, you'll have to head to Walmart. No one else, including IHOP, is selling the new line. If you want to do some research before you buy them, check out IHOP At Home's FAQ or read up on their nutritional info (the faint of heart should especially shield their eyes from the Omelet Crispers).

But if you don't have the gastronomical fortitude to handle all that IHOP intensity in the morning, there are other ways to prepare quick, healthy breakfasts on the go. We've got some lighter grab-and-go breakfast dishes you can prepare the night before. And they won't feel like a rock in your stomach.
