Dry ice isn't as hard to work with as you might think -- in fact, it's surprisingly easy to use and effective at creating a spooky Halloween atmosphere. A little dry ice can make a party all the more memorable and make any house feel like a haunted house.

One of our favorite ways to use dry ice for Halloween is for serving punch. Just follow the instructions in the video above. Start with two bowls, one larger than the other. Position the smaller bowl (filled with punch) in the larger bowl. Carefully place the dry ice using tongs into the space between the two bowls. Then pour hot water along the space and watch the mist rise. Keep refilling with dry ice and hot water, as needed, throughout the evening.

You can also fill cauldrons or even Jack-o'-lanterns with dry ice. Just remember to periodically fill the containers with dry ice and hot water. Your Halloween party will be the talk of your friends.
